                About the Author . . .

 

 

Corinne Isaacs-Frontiero has two careers, and still has an affinity for outside interests. Corinne is a Paralegal of 23 years and has a 13 year history as an Independent Facilitator for the C.A.R.E. Agency of Macomb County based upon her previous specialty in Developmental Psychology. In her 13 year relationship with C.A.R.E., Corinne facilitated every developmental stage of parenting class, the Anger Management Group for Teens, wrote, facilitated and conducted both the Children’s Divorce Support Group of Macomb County and The Single Parent Group for the Macomb County Circuit Court Family Law Division. She has taught Child in the Middle, Non-custodial parenting classes, Do You Need a Hug?, Paper People, ADD Parenting Classes, audited Co-Dependency Groups, wrote Project Teen Intervene, as well as done Independent Workshops for both C.A.R.E. and the United States Military. She has mentored other Facilitators, and in May of 2000, she was named Volunteer of the Year by the Macomb County Board of Governors.

 

Within the last ten years, Corinne has authored three books: The Childrens’ Divorce Support Group, Project Teen Intervene, a Behavioral Modification Treatment Program for adolescents and teens struggling with substance abuse issues and Moving Forward, A Handbook designed for the Divorced Individual.  The books are registered with the National Library of Congress and are all written upon the foundation of research-based groups/programs credentialed with surveys of its prior members. 

 

In 2009, she built her own website and in May of 2009, started writing divorce, dating and parenting articles as a National Examiner for Examiner.com.  She is also a member of the Motown Writers Network and recently presented on the topic: Overcoming Social Anxiety & Public Speaking.  In her spare time, Corinne likes to spend time with her daughter and her closest friends.

 

Corinne hopes, ultimately, to complete a Master’s Degree in Technical Library Science at the University of South Carolina.  Corinne studied at Macomb County Community College, Western Michigan University, and Wayne State University.
