
About the Author . . .
Corinne Isaacs-Frontiero is the author of three relationship recovery e-books: Moving Forward, Project Teen Intervene and The Children’s Divorce Support Group: for Children Ages 7 to 11. Moving Forward and Project Teen Intervene may be purchased directly from www.booksonrelationships.net. Corinne has just completed a Divorce, Dating and Parenting Anthology, as well.
Corinne has a dual specialty. She maintains a Paralegal Degree with 23 years’ experience and a background in Developmental Psychology from Wayne State University.
For 14 years, she designed, wrote and facilitated support groups for C.A.R.E. (Community, Awareness, Referral and Education), which is the Office of Substance Abuse for Macomb County, Michigan. Corinne has facilitated parenting classes, Anger Management Groups (both the parent and child component(s)), specializing in working with adolescents and teens. In her capacity as Liaison between The Family Law Division of the Macomb County Circuit Court and C.A.R.E., she wrote, facilitated and conducted The Children’s Divorce Support Group of Macomb County: for Children Ages 7 to 11, and The Single Parent Support Group. To date, C.A.R.E. still provides support groups for the Macomb County Circuit Court. Corinne has also taught Child in the Middle, Communication for Divorcing and Single Women, Non-custodial parenting classes, Do You Need a Hug?, Paper People, ADD/ADHD Parenting Classes and audited Co-Dependency Groups. She wrote Project Teen Intervene, a Behavioral Intervention Treatment Program (turned into a three session support group) for the Adolescent and Teen struggling with alcohol and other substance abuse issues. She writes and has subsequently presented customized workshops and presentations for the private, public, corporate, governmental, non-profit, theological, diversity and educational sectors. She has also written and facilitated for the United States Military as well as mentored other Facilitators. In May of 2000, she was named Volunteer of the Year by the Macomb County Board of Governors. Corinne’s recent Facilitation endeavors have included C4P (Connecting for Purpose), a work transition program for unemployed white collar workers. Corinne is formerly known as the National Divorce Support Examiner for Examiner.com, writing Divorce, dating and parenting articles as well as the Detroit/Windsor Pets Examiner. Currently, she maintains a column as the Toronto Mental Health Examiner and her latest endeavor is as the Toronto Military Children Examiner. Corinne has the unique ability to take a particular topic and create a custom-design workshop on any topic. She formerly hosted Reading, Writing and Relationships, a one hour author radio talk show on the Michigan Literary Network.
